New Pee Wee Category added for 2007-08
September 2007 - MAC has seen a rise in younger athletes in the Open division. In order to give these children a safe place to compete, we are pleased to announce that we have created a a "Pee Wee" division this year in the Open category only.
The Pee Wee division will consist of athletes in grade 5 and under. These athletes can no longer register to compete in the Youth category (grades 6 to 9). They will be limited to stunts at the half extension or prep height and with tosses (no twisting or basket tosses).
Rules will be updateed shortly to reflect these changes. We see this change as a positive addition to the day and hope it will even out the "cute factor" at the younger levels. Please contact the office if you have any questions or require further information.
