Cheer Manitoba believes that we should be proactive in making cheerleading in Manitoba as safe as possible and welcoming for all participants. We know the concept of fair play extends beyond how athletes compete on the mat and behave on competition day; fair play also applies to how teams and clubs operate fairly and equitably when conflict arises. It is essential to follow basic principles of good governance and create a harmonious environment to reduce the risk of conflicts and disputes. It is expected that all Cheer Manitoba members will adhere to all Cheer Manitoba polices. Cheer Manitoba recommends that all clubs/teams also internally adopt the following policies:
