The following courses are mandatory for Cheer Manitoba coaches to be considered certified:

• All coaches taking part in Cheer Manitoba events must be credentialed up to the level of their registered team(s)
   

• Coaches must be a registered member of Cheer Canada
   

• ​First Aid & CPR Certification. (8-hour course)
   

• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
   

• Child Abuse Registry Check​
   

• Respect in Sport
   

• Concussion Training. (Must be Sport Manitoba approved course administered via Sport Medicine & Science Council of Manitoba)
   

• NCCP Making Ethical Decisions Course
   

• NCCP Emergency Action Plan Course
   

• Cheer Manitoba Screening Disclosure Form​​​​

• NCCP Making Headway in Sport
   

• NCCP Planning a Practice
   

• NCCP Understanding the Rule of Two
   

• NCCP Safe Sport Training

Requirements depends on level of the coach and to refer to the Cheer Canada link for full details.  Coaching are required to complete all Cheer Canada and Cheer Manitoba requirement for thier respective levels.
