We require that all performance cheer coaches receive their ICU level 1 credentialing for the type of routine they are coaching: pom, hip-hop or jazz.

The following courses are mandatory for ALL Cheer Manitoba coaches:

• All coaches taking part in Cheer Manitoba events must be credentialed up to the level of their registered team(s)
   

• Coaches must be a registered member of Cheer Canada
   

• ​First Aid & CPR Certification. (8-hour course)
   

• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search
   

• Child Abuse Registry Check​
   

• Respect in Sport
   

• Concussion Training. (Must be Sport Manitoba approved course administered via Sport Medicine & Science Council of Manitoba)
   

• NCCP Making Ethical Decisions Course
   

• NCCP Emergency Action Plan Course
